What to contact us about

• News tips, photographs, video and documents: please use our Submit a Story page rather than ordinary email. It lets you attach files securely and tell us whether you want your identity kept confidential.
• Corrections and clarifications: if you think something we have published is inaccurate, email us with the subject “Correction request” and include the link to the article, what you believe is wrong and any evidence. See our Corrections & Clarifications policy.
• Editorial complaints: subject “Editorial complaint”. We aim to acknowledge formal complaints within five working days. See our Editorial Standards.

A note on sensitive information

Ordinary email is not a secure or anonymous channel. If you have sensitive material, or you are worried about being identified, please use Submit a Story and tell us what you need. We will consider requests for source confidentiality, but we cannot guarantee absolute anonymity in every circumstance.
